Anna Belle Corson
Anna Belle Corson, 95, of Sedalia, Missouri, died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Sylvia G. Thompson Residents Center in Sedalia, Missouri. She was born, June 20, 1921, in Sedalia, Missouri; daughter of John Cecil and Beulah Leach Estes. On June 10, 1938, in Sedalia, Missouri, she married Charles Corson, who died in 1986. Mrs. Corson loved crocheting, sewing and gardening. She worked for Town and Country Shoes for many years. She is survived by a daughter, Debra Edwards, Otterville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Billy Joe Griffith, Laurie, Missouri; Linda Noble, Sedalia, Missouri; Lynn Payne, Sedalia, Missouri; LeAnn Langton, Otterville, Missouri; Elizabeth Holman, Otterville, Missouri; 15 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Charles "Bud" Corson, two daughters, Daisy Mettenburg, Georgia Griffith, three brothers, Kenneth Estes, J.W. Estes, Leroy Estes, a sister, Lois Arnold and two grandchildren, Charles Mettenburg and Nick Mettenburg. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Hughesville High Point Cemetery, Hughesville, Missouri with Rev. Rodney Brown officiating. There will be no visitation. Funeral services are under the direction of the Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home.
