Evelyn Lucille Cooper (James)
Evelyn Lucille Cooper age 89 of Sedalia died on Friday, December 30, 2016 at her home. She was born on September 18, 1927 in Sedalia daughter of Lawrence F. and Barcie Marie Scott James. On September 4, 1959 in Sedalia she married Donald Emmett Cooper and he survives of the home. Evelyn enjoyed time with her family above all else and loved keeping them connected. She especially prided herself on her 10 gramdchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She looked forward to her family members phone calls and visits, and more than anything, valued their choices and loved hearing about their lives, Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter; Patricia Koehn of Elmhurst, Illinois, three sons; Paul Muller (Patty) of Dothan, Alabama, Peter Muller (Patty) of Enterprise, Alabama, and Donnie Cooper, JR. (Jamie) Cape Coral, Florida, one brother; Robert (Bob) James (Marlene) of Independence, Missouri, one sister; Eunice Herrick of Stillwell, Kansas, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Dona Sue Cooper Cramer in 2015 and one brother, Herschel James. The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with the funeral service at 10:00 A.M. with Father Mark Miller C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends and family donate to a charity of their choosing.
