Lloyd Gene Goode
Lloyd Gene Goode, 76, of Sedalia, died Monday afternoon, August 7, 2017 at the Fair View Nursing Home. He was born October 13, 1940, in Sedalia, Missouri, son of Lloyd W. Goode and Mary Ellen Adams Goode. In 1974, in Marshall, Missouri, he married Susie Goode who survives. Mr. Goode was a graduate of Smith Cotton High School. He had worked for Safeway Grocery for over 20 years, Alcolac and for Broderick and Bascom Wire Rope. Survivors include five daughters, Nicole Mills, Sedalia, Missouri; Patricia Brown, Kansas City, Missouri; Carol Keele "Woolery", Smithton, Missouri; April Sullins, Sedalia, Missouri; Teresa Hood, Sedalia, Missouri; a sister, Coleene Mittelhauser, Sedalia, Missouri; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday with funeral services at 2:00 pm at the Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home, with Pastor Willie Harlow officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Otterville, Missouri. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Brown, David Brown, Joshua Hood, Devin Randall, Deany Goode, Christy Sullins, Chelsey Potteroff, Becky Randall, Jessica Sullins, Amy Brown and Kalea Sullins. The family suggests contributions to Crossroads Hospice.
