Obituary for Mildred A. Duncan

Mildred A. Duncan, 85, of Sedalia, died Sunday morning, February 19, 2017 at the Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was born November 8, 1931, in Drexel, Missouri daughter of Albert Long and Mabel Allen. On April 17, 1955, in Drexel, Missouri, she married DeWayne Duncan who survives of the home. Mrs. Duncan was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Missouri State Teachers Association. Survivors include a son Delwyn L. Duncan and wife Mary E., Centrailia, Mo; daughter Darla Nelae Steele and husband Donald Ray, Smithton, Mo; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Dana Lee Duncan and a sister Dorothy L. Willis. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dennis Harper and Rev. Eddie Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Pallbearers will be Gerald Hunton, Larry Duncan, Robert Weddington, Jim Willis, Tracy Meuschke and Keith Sumner. Funeral services are under the direction of the Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home. The family suggests contributions to the Wesley United Methodist Church.
