Eva Ruth Ream
Eva Ruth Ream age 82 of Sedalia went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 after passing away at Rest Haven Convalescent and Retirement Home. She was born on June 12, 1934 in Sedalia daughter of Merle and Sarah Pirtle Allcorn. On September 30, 1951 in Sedalia she married Francis M. (Hoover) Ream and he survives of the home. She was raised and educated in Sedalia and attended Smith-Cotton High School and later worked to receive her GED. She was a homemaker and mother for many years. She worked at Kings Food Host, John Nielson Carpet and Sedalia School System. She enjoyed baking cookies for the kids. Upon retirement she lived her life by working in her church and taking care of her husband. She was a member of East Broadway Christian Church which later became Parkview Christian Church. She loved to shop and decorate her home. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter; Leslie M. Andrews (Stephen) Kearney, Missouri, one son; Perry D. Ream (Barbara) of West Burlington, Iowa, special niece; Donna Coulter (Gary) of Sedalia and many other nieces and nephews, four grandchildren; Kyle Andrews, Sarah Brink, Zachary Ream and Seth Ream, one great granddaughter; Scarlett Ruth Brink. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 19, 2016 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Brown officiating. Friends may call after 2:00 P.M. Sunday with the family receiving friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be; Max Fields, Steve Lee, Toby Brown, Jerry Welch, Henry Utterback and Rick Thomas. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
